About the event
With a future of climate uncertainty and the potential for drought restrictions to be put in place in the coming years, wicking beds are a fantastic way to grow veggies at home while using a minimal amount of water.
Join us at the Seaford Wetlands Community Garden for a wicking bed building workshop, hosted by the fabulous Sophie Thomson of Gardening Australia and Sophie's Patch. Sophie will take you through the process of how to build a wicking bed, providing expert advice and answering your questions along the way.

- When: Sunday 25th August from 1:30pm
- Where: Seaford Wetlands Community Garden, Seaford Road (Parking on Seaford Road in front of Eldercare, or Nautical Terrace)
- Who can come: This workshop is open to people of all ages, community garden members, and non-members alike
- Cost: $15 (members price) $25 (non-members price)
