About the event
Our Social Sunday is a chance to get to know your community gardeners, hear about our progress, enjoy a lovely morning tea and buy some plants!
We will be combining this with our Annual Biodiversity Planting Day!
Come help us plant native seedlings in the wetlands, learn about urban biodiversity, and meet some like-minded people.
This will contribute to the Seaford Wetlands Urban Biodiversity Project. This project aims to improve the Seaford Wetlands and create a cooler, greener, and more biodiverse space for wildlife and for people.
Come and see what we're about and sign up if you’re not already a member.
The day will include:
- Planting Native Seedlings in the Wetlands, starting at 9:30am.
- Morning tea 10:30am
- Plant Sale
- Garden update 11am
- Help us build a compost pile within the gates 1pm
- Rock painting activity and games for the kids
